FINALLY!!
I'm back in business.....my lens is repaired and in the mean time
I also picked up a new Cannon lens for a killer deal.
I'm so excited to get my photography groove back on.
Right before I broke my lens a friend of mine asked if I would get a picture of one of the many Oak Trees that dot our valley. They are everywhere but usually they are in clumps or with a house next to them.
Today as I was driving home I spotted the perfect tree! I did a couple different edits on it - as with many of my landscape pictures I think I like it best in BW.

Beautiful tree. I think I like #2 best but the black and white is nice too.
I am constantly commenting to people here in Montana that the thing I miss the most about California is Oak Trees. Miss them so much! Love these photos and all your treatments of them!
I am glad your lens is repaired and congrats on the new addition to the equipment stash. I like the 2nd edit best. Beautiful tree and nice composition on your shot.
